A Why can I not access the sub menus when clicking on the +?
A You need to talk to your IM&T department to enable javascript on your computer. It should then work.
A Why does the headings not appear in the forum?
A If you hit F5 (the funtion key) when in the fourm to clear your cache, the heading will then appear.
Q Why has BOPA changed their website?
A The new site has increased
functionality and brings it more in line with current expected standards, it
also has increased user friendliness and will help ease of communication. Plus
it looks better (out with the brown!!).
Q What if my email is out-of-date, how
will I get the password for the new site?
A Please contact Succinct as soon as
possible with your correct email address on 01494 549100 or email bopa@succinctcomms.com
Q Will my BOPA membership fee increase
as a consequence of the
introduction of the new site?
A No
Q Will the website be free from any
commercial influence?
A Yes. The new website will be still be
managed and maintained by the BOPA committee (with third party – non commercial
help).
Q How has Succincts’ role changed?
A Succinct will still manage the
membership for BOPA and organise the annual symposium and other study days. The
only change is that they do not manage the website anymore.
Q What will happen to the old discussion
forums?
A These can be accessed in the members section.
Q How will BOPA ensure that the website
remains up to date?
A There are a set number of people that
are designated ‘BOPA website managers’. This includes a BOPA member with basic
website design knowledge, a
Network Pharmacist and a member from the BOPA committee. If you are interested
in helping to manage the website please email the BOPA Website Team.
Q What are the new functionalities of
the new site?
A Functionalities include a more dynamic
discussion forum where documents can be added for discussion, the ability to
search for other BOPA members and email within the site, and specific group
sections to increase ease of communication. Please see website for more
functionality items.
Q What are these groups and are they
secure? Can anyone access them?
A These groups include the BOPA working
groups, Network pharmacists group and the BOPA committee. They are all password
protected so you will only be able to see these groups if you are a member. To
have access to these groups you must be approved by a BOPA website manager.
